Over the next few weeks, students will be taking the Measurement of Academic Progress (MAP) Growth Assessment during their English Language Arts (ELA) and Math courses.

What is MAP Growth? A computer-based test designed to measure student skill levels in reading and mathematics.

Why do we administer it? Scores allow teachers to measure achievement and academic growth, tailor classroom instruction, set personalized goals, and identify key supports to help students achieve their college and career ambitions.

How often is it taken? The assessment is given three times per year to consistently monitor student progress. Specific timing will be communicated by your child's ELA and Math teachers.

Does it affect grades? No. The assessment does not directly impact student grades. However, accurate data is essential for guiding instruction, so we ask students to approach the test with full determination and focus.
